    PROJECTS:

NMI 90th Anniversary Project Refocus—Thanks to the generosity of Nazarenes worldwide, results are being seen regarding the NMI 90th Anniversary project, “Books for Pastors–Tools for Ministry.” More than $2 million has been received (as of 3/1/2006), about 57% of our denominational goal of $3.5 million. On Sunday, May 14, RCN received an offering for this project with more than $1,500 being given. This amount, added to others worldwide, moves NMI closer to the goal of supplying getting quality resources into  the hands of pastors in developing nations. If you would like to participate in this effort, it is not too late. Simply mark your contribution "Books for Pastors." Thank you.

    PRAYER:

    Ukraine “Extreme Makeover”
Please pray for the large Work & Witness project, “Extreme Makeover Ukraine,” currently taking place in Ukraine. More than 100 international travelers are working together with local people to build six buildings. Community members are being saved as a result of the team’s evangelistic outreach. Please pray for the safety of the Work & Witness team members, and that God will touch many lives through Extreme Makeover in Ukraine.
    Paulo Sueia
Please pray for Africa Lusophone Field Stategy Coordinator Paulo Sueia and his wife. Both were involved in a car accident while returning from a district assembly. Dr. Sueia sustained multiple bruises and needed several stitches. Mrs. Sueia (Paulo’s wife) suffered a broken arm and cuts which required stitches. Please pray for their recovery.
    East Timor
Please pray for peace in East Timor. Pray that calm will prevail as the May 20th Independence Day approaches. Also, pray that the church will find ways to shine and serve as examples of hope and peace during this time of uncertainty.
